Ringing for Claude Augustus Baker on 8 October

Theft from car - time to tighten up your security

A car parked outside the field where the parking takes place for the Fete was broken into this morning.  Belinda, Franey Matthews daughter left a handbag on the passenger seat.  10 minutes after she parked and was working a little way off with a pony, she heard her car alarm trigger and when she had sorted the pony came back to find the near side passenger window had been smashed and her bag snatched.  Fortunately it had nothing of value in it so she’s hoping it will be dumped…

Summer Fete 2018

Another Fantastic village fete. This year the teas in the Village Hall were a great success again,only due to all the help given both on the Friday before with all the setting up and   then on the Saturday with all the amazing help we received running the "Tea Shop".Then of course the wonderful selection of homemade cakes, cookies and sandwiches which were so kindly donated by you all. Farewell to Rector

Nigel Feaver has been our Rector for 10 years. His final service will take place on Sunday 13th May commencing 6PM. This will be followed by drinks and light supper at Woodlands. Everyone is very welcome to come along and join in on this special occasion.
