Bell ringing

Bell Ringing

Bell Ringing takes place in St. Michael's church Pen Selwood. The group rings every Sunday for worship;  except on the fourth Sunday in each month ringing is at 8:30 for the 9.00a.m. service.  On the fourth Sunday, it is in the afternoon for the half hour before evensong; evensong is at 4pm in the winter and 6:30 in the summer. Regular practice is held on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 - 8:30p.m.

We are keen to include new members in our band and can teach complete beginners either in small groups or individually by arrangement until they are ready to join the band of ringers.

Here is a short video to let you hear what they sound like.

All ringers are welcome. Anyone interested in learning to ring should contact the Tower Captain,

Charles Buckler 01747 840377 or Bruce Bower 01747 840335
