Verity represents GB for European Cup 10000m race this Saturday

You may have seen Verity Ockenden on her training runs around the village. She will be part of the British team for the European Cup at the Night of the 10000m PBs on Saturday evening. The race is also the British Championship for the distance and the Selection trial for the World Championship.

Lost Cat

Just seen the following post on the local Cats Protection Facebook page

Please can everyone in and around Penselwood keep an eye out for a missing Siamese. She is chipped and wearing a pink collar. If you see her please either contact us or her owner on 0146074890 (from tomorrow) or 07716467099. The owner was on holiday in Penselwood so her cat will not know the area.

Sharing the road

Most of the drivers in our villages are brilliant but there is always one or two impatient and reckless drivers with poor attitudes that can startle, unsettle and panic the horses.
