Larch Wood

Peter & Sarah FitzGerald have decided to fell the majority of the larch in the small wood immediately above Pen Mill Farm.
They are nearly 90 years old and were planted as a nurse crop to protect the young oak, which they have been holding back for some years.
We are unlikely to make a profit, but it is in the best interests of the wood. We apologise for any inconvenience while the work is carried out.

Fireworks

Does anyone know who had the firework display in the community field last night (17th)as they left all the debris behind? This  activity invalidates the community  field insurance and is  very distressing for the horses in the adjoining field.
