Our Vizslas Ruby and Bert are happily recovering from ingesting a large quantity of slug pellets spread round a badger path adjacent to Pits Farm in Pear Ash Lane Penselwood on Thursday 15th December.
The location of the slug pellets is indicated on the map below by the red kite mark and the foot path runs from Pear Ash Lane adjacent to Pits Farm south exiting in Chapel Lane. The exact location of the pellets is in the hedgerow which runs alongside the foot path on Pits…Continue

What To Do When You Have No Name?
Just a reminder; you have 5 days to get your suggested name for the new village club to me. Competition is tough but don’t let that put you off. There is a “A Fist Full of Dollars” to win if your suggestion is triumphant. And if you insist, a bottle of sparkling continental wine to go with it.
Please send me your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org or by a note in the…Continue

Many stories of people's friendship and memories of Robin filled the village hall from the moment the doors opened through to closing time; a true illustration of his reach and popularity. All the takings from the bar and generous donations from Robin's many friends raised an incredible £500 for the village community field…Continue

Ref : Robin Cuthbert's sudden death on Saturday 3rd September
