Black Bin Cafe reopening.
The Black Bin Cafe will open again at long last on Friday 23rd of July, 10.30-12.30.
As numbers of Covid cases are still going up we will be putting in measures to keep us all as safe as possible.
This will mean that the cafe will only open on dry days through to September and most of the seating will be outside either in the churchyard or the grassy area by the hall. In…

PLEASE NOTE: The CAT bus is operating, albeit a reduced daily service during the COVID pandemic (including lockdowns). Social distancing rules apply and passengers must wear face masks. We hope to resume a full service as soon as restrictions are lifted by the government. For bookings telephone: 01963 33864 as usual.

We are very sorry to say that, owing to the extension of Covid restrictions the Black Bin Cafe will not be opening as planned next Friday 25th June.
We are now looking forward to reopening on Friday 23rd July. Put the date in your diary and let's hope we can all get together then.

Seven, very different gardens in Pen Selwood are open to ticket holders. In addition there are two plants stalls and a garden bric a brac stall. Tickets £5.00 for the gardens. (Limited availability) No dogs.
Delicious cream teas and cakes available from the Village Hall from 3.00p.m.

Someone in the village has fallen for a scam having received an email from someone else in the village.
By replying to the email, the recipient is unknowingly directed to a third party who then asks you to buy gift cards from Google, Amazon, Apple etc. They then ask for the number and the code and take the money. They may come back and try again.

The Spring Litter Pick was a great success and lots of villagers turned out to do their bit (see Photos Litter Pick Spring 2021). It was especially nice to see the very youngest villagers joining in and having some fun along the way.
