Your Village Needs You - Parish Council elections 2015
On 7th May 2015 you will have the opportunity to stand as a Parish Councillor for Pen Selwood. This would give you the opportunity to influence decisions made by the Parish Council on behalf of and for the benefit of all in the immediate village and wider parish.
All 7 places on the Council are up for election. One of the current Councillors is not standing for re-election and it is important the new candidates come forward to ensure there is good representation of all interests within the Parish.
If you would like to know what being a Parish Councillor involves, any of the current Parish Councillors would be happy to talk to you about it. Please consult the village website www.penselwood.ning.com for contact names and numbers.
Application papers will be available for collection from Peter FitzGerald at Pen Mill Farm 840 895 from March 19th 2015, for submission at the latest 4pm 9th April at SSDC offices Brympton Way, Yeovil.
