Our Vizslas Ruby and Bert are happily recovering from ingesting a large quantity of slug pellets spread round a badger path adjacent to Pits Farm in Pear Ash Lane Penselwood on Thursday 15th December.

The location of the slug pellets is indicated on the map below by the red kite mark and the foot path runs from Pear Ash Lane adjacent to Pits Farm south exiting in Chapel Lane. The exact location of the pellets is in the hedgerow which runs alongside the foot path on Pits Farm land.

This area should be avoided by dog walkers until the pellets are cleared away and the area made safe, slug pellets contain a powerful neurotoxin which can kill pets in hours, if you think your pet has ingested these pellets seek advice from a vet ASAP.
