Does your community group struggle to meet the needs of its members because of a lack of suitable transport?

Are you considering setting up a car scheme in your community?

If your answer to either of the above is 'yes', then this free workshop may be of interest to you.

Somerset Community Foundation is holding a free event in Langport on 27 March bringing together local community groups to talk about transport issues. Topics will include:  ‘Choosing the right transport solution’,  ‘Setting up and running a community car scheme’ and ‘Developing sustainable sources of income’.

The event, at the Ridgway Hall in Langport, will run from 11.30am to 3.30pm and will feature a mix of presentations, workshops and opportunities for networking.   A detailed programme will be available nearer the time.

A sandwich lunch will be provided.
