The community website for Pen Selwood
The History Society is for everyone interested in the history of Pen Selwood. We foster and promote the study and appreciation of local history by sharing what we each know about the past.
The meetings will be held monthly between October and March on Tuesdays at 7:30pm in private homes. We may arrange some outdoor daytime visits.
Notes from October 2015 meeting. You'll find the Bourton Bypass options leaflet in the History group, but you'll have to join first.
Notes from January 2016 meeting. Here is a paper relating to Stourhead from John Harrison.
Presentation about the magnetometer survey from April 2016 meeting.
You can find results of the geophysics survey in this report.
