Hello all
When I was a boy - about 150 years ago - I had a temporary job at the now very much dilapidated Leigh Common Filling Station, and as Leigh Common is in the parish of Pen I thought I’d ask if anyone knows what happened to Albert and daughter Carol Hoskins who farmed in Leigh as well as ran the petrol station?
I imagine Albert is now looking down on us but I’ve often wondered if Carol is still with us, albeit I recall she decamped to Australia at one stage.
It would be interesting to know what became of them.
Thanks and all the best
Derrick
