Hello Pen and other readers,

I wonder if you could assist? Several local dairy farmers asked Bourton Footpath Liasion officers' assistance several months ago to help reduce the incidence of dog poo left on fields crossed by public footpaths. Many such fields are used either directly or indirectly to provide cattle feed, and there is the possibility of an infection spreading to pregnant cows. To this end, we produced and posted a number of explanatory leaflets on relevant fingerposts. Sadly, all those along the boundary with Long Lane and Long Lane track have been removed by someone unknown. They have now been replaced, and so we ask for everyone's understanding and cooperation. If any additional leaflets are needed to assist others with footpaths crossing their land, they are attached for download in both A5 and A6 format.
