Event Description

Message from Rachael Whaites, South Somerset District Council Ranger -

"I just thought I’d drop you a line to let you know of a couple of volunteering dates for Moldrams next year. The first date is Friday 15^th January and we will be cutting, raking and (hopefully) burning brambles. The second date is Friday 12^th February, when we will be digging up oak saplings for transplanting to other sites. Hopefully you can muster up some enthusiastic volunteers! We will be on site by 10.30am and working until about 2.30pm. There will be tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits provided of course!"

Thank you for the advance warning of the forthcoming volunteer days. I'm unlikely to be able to attend on 15 January but will try to come for a while on 12 February. unfortunately you have picked dates which clash with the Black Bin Cafe (10.30 to noon) which is usually well attended by the folk most likely to volunteer. I am already schedule to work at the Cafe on on 15th Jan and won't get away much before 1 pm.
