The community website for Pen Selwood
We will host an open evening on Monday 30th June from 7:30 to 9 pm. This is our normal practice time and it will be an opportunity for you to see what we do and how we learn. Because we are naturally hospitable, wine, soft drinks and nibbles will be laid on. Do just come and see us in action.
You might also like to comment on our proposals marking WW1. There has been much talk in bell ringing circles (and elsewhere) about the appropriate way to mark the centenary of WW1. We propose to ring, half muffled, on the 100th anniversary of the death of each person on the War Memorial in the churchyard. In this way, we will think about the individuals connected with this village whose lives were lost in the war.
