BT has plans to remove copper wire fed landlines and replace them with fibre optic cables and digital phones by 2025. In the recent storms some people were unable to call 999 and health alarms and burglar alarms would not function. They have delayed the roll-out while they resolve these issues. Check with BT if you have concerns.…

Bourton Telephone Exchange is isolated from the Network, Sunday AM 06/02/22.
BT Users can dial each other using the six digit numerics of the customer number, but anything requiring the National Dialling Code fails.
Calls incoming to BT Customers from outside of Bourton Exchange will also fail.
BT is dealing.

Due to current circumstances at St Michael's Church we have decided to postpone the start of Rise and Shine (our planned new monthly worship for all ages to be held monthly 9am on the First Sunday). We had hoped we would start at the beginning of February but we will start later this year. On Sunday 6th February we will hold a 9am Communion Service in St Michael's. I'll keep you posted on the start up time for Rise and Shine!.
With apologies and best wishes, Rev Alison
