Ukrainian refugees

A meeting was held in the village hall for those interested in helping Ukrainian refugees. Several people were prepared to host refugees either for 6 months or more or for a couple of weeks holiday to give long term hosts a break.

It was recognised that the village without public transport or other amenities was not the obvious place for refugees to be placed and that it would be better if there was more than one family at a time so that they had the company of people speaking the…

Telephone Exchange Isolation Sunday morning 06/02/22

Bourton Telephone Exchange is isolated from the Network, Sunday AM 06/02/22.

BT Users can dial each other using the six digit numerics of the customer number, but anything requiring the National Dialling Code fails.

Calls incoming to BT Customers from outside of Bourton Exchange will also fail.

BT is dealing.

Problem resolved 11:30 AM
