Clear sky just now but the weather looks dreadful for tomorrow. The mince pies are being baked as I type so you are welcome for coffee and mince pies and the walking is optional! I'm happy to guide the (fool)hardy ones around on a brief one hour walk to wash away the cobwebs!
Happy Hogmanay

Currently there is space available to rent and this is the perfect time to prepare and get stuck in for the following year. To rent a full plot for a year the cost is £37, a half is…

Selwood Sport & Social club held their annual buffet supper on Sat 16 November at Pen House Farm by kind permission of Bill Hopkins and Janey. It was well supported and raised a magnificent sum of £800 to be split equally between Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Cerebra, a charity set up to help children with brain related conditions and their families.

Several members have expressed concern about a young man (describing himself as having been a ‘bad boy’) trying to sell plastic goods door to door towards the end of last week. There were several inconsistencies in his story and details of his name and van have been reported to the police. The police have said they will get back to me.
In the meantime, you should take extra care over security.

On Wednesday 4th, our group of volunteers, with the expert assistance from Orin our new junior member, had a very enjoyable morning bracken bashing at the reserve.
