Final preparations are underway for Pen Selwood’s 66th Traditional Fete this Saturday afternoon.  Everything is organised and run by the villagers themselves, apart from the provision of the free entertainment for the children who attend ~ this year the chance to try as many different Circus Skills as they wish.

This year, Fete visitors will find the Pen Teas in a marquee located behind the Village Hall in the  Churchyard.  This is to provide better ventilation and spacing to keep…

If anyone is venturing to the Pub Night tomorrow Friday 6th August) at the Village Hall who would still like to make a contribution to the bottle stall for the fete, please bring your donation along and it will be gratefully collected.

We plan to re-open on the 1st Friday of August (6th) so note it in your diary and do come along between 1930-2230. Happy Hour 1930-2030. All are welcome; we will follow all Covid regulations & we'll provide outside seating if the weather is good.  Cash only (but fantastic local prices).  We don't usually have a Pen Pub in August but because the Fete has been postponed 1 week this rare opportunity is too good to miss!  Come along and finally catch up…
