VE Day 80th Anniversary Bonfire on Beacon Field

Courtesy of Charles and Ros Buckler, there will be a small bonfire on Beacon Field to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day on the 8th May.  The bonfire will be lit at 9.30pm and all are welcome to bring chairs and refreshments. As with other such bonfires around the country we will sing 'I vow to thee my country' and please bring the words with you if you don't  already know them!

There will also be a collection for The Royal British Legion at the celebration.
