Update on Pen Teas at the Fete - Saturday 14 August

Final preparations are underway for Pen Selwood’s 66th Traditional Fete this Saturday afternoon.  Everything is organised and run by the villagers themselves, apart from the provision of the free entertainment for the children who attend ~ this year the chance to try as many different Circus Skills as they wish.

This year, Fete visitors will find the Pen Teas in a marquee located behind the Village Hall in the  Churchyard.  This is to provide better ventilation and spacing to keep everyone as safe as possible. From 12.30pm they will be open to serve tea, coffee and soft drinks to accompany your choice of cream tea or a delicious range of freshly baked cakes.  Please note, to simplify the choice on offer this year, no sandwiches will be available. Apologies to our regulars, who will have to make do with something from the Barbeque on the Fete field and which will be serving from midday!
