On Saturday afternoon, Pen will host the final of the Diocesan six bell striking competition. Six bands from all over the diocese will compete and we should hear some of the finest ringing for a long time.
The competition will start at 1:45 and take about two hours.
Each band is allowed a two minute timed practice. After that the treble rings to signal to the judges that they are about to start. They ring some rounds, a set piece of 120 changes, some more rounds and then…

The open evening planned for Monday 12th July has to be postponed as we cannot start ringing again yet. We will set a new date when Covid regulations permit.
