As you may have seen from the notices, the village hall AGM is to be held in the hall on Wednesday 10th April at 7.30pm.

From last year's Community Plan questionnaire it seems that some 90% of us use or visit the hall so why not come along and tell us what you think and maybe even get involved.

The Community Plan also highlighted a number of ideas for more informal activity in Pen including, most popularly, the idea of pub nights and the idea of a cafe. The Hall has now obtained a premises licence which means we can follow up on the pub night idea. More immediately the village cafe idea becomes reality with the opening of 'The Black Bin Cafe' on Friday 12th April. This will run every other Friday morning from 10-12 on - you guessed it - black bin collection days.

What else might we use the hall for to the benefit of the villagers?
