VE Day 80th Anniversary Bonfire on Beacon Field

Courtesy of Charles and Ros Buckler, there will be a small bonfire on Beacon Field to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day on the 8th May. The bonfire will be lit at 9.30pm and all are welcome to bring chairs and refreshments. Thank you

A huge “Thank you” from St Michael’s Church to everyone who so generously contributed to our Harvest event on Sunday, from decorating the church, setting up, providing food, cooking, serving, eating, or just plain spending money, and then clearing away at the end. It was an enormous success and of course we must not forget the blessing of perfect weather too.
