Moldram's Ground volunteering - 26th March

On Tuesday (tomorrow) from 10 am, Rachael Whaites and her team from SSDC will be doing some work at Moldram's Ground and would appreciate some help from us. The plan is to clear some brash down by the lower pond and also to level up the approach to the bird hide. 

 

We will also be looking at what is needed to improve the approach and feeding opportunities on the reserve's meadow area for any Barn owls that may be in the locality, especially any that may have taken up residence in the new nesting box that was fitted on the reserve at the end of last year. Once this work is decided upon, we can hopefully make a start.

 

Hope to see you down at the lower pond, with the usual wellies and wet weather gear! Coffee and tea as always will be on hand.
