Thank you all again for a really good day. It really was a fantastic demonstration of community spirit! The Pen Selwood History Society is a remarkable organisation!
I liked the way you had involved the owners of the different sites, and, not least, the clear engagement they all had with the history of their land.
And I certainly can't remember an outing where we have been entertained anything like as well: coffee and biscuits, a superb lunch and more cakes to finish. As good as it gets!
We hope the wine gets your next meeting off to a good start!
