Mike Carson will lead a 1½  to 2 hour walk in the footpaths and fields around Bruton.  The route will follow the river, past the Bruton Flood Defence System, then over the hills for a circular tour. 

Option to extend the walk into Bruton for a coffee/lunch after. 

This is a generally dog friendly walk but note that a short section is along a main road.  Also some manoeuvring over styles may be necessary but I managed to get my 30 kilo Labrador through them.  Some fields may have sheep.

Meet at the car park outside the Godminster Cheese Shop at 10:30.  (On the B3081 just by the sharp left hand turn into Bruton)
