Pen Selwood Community Association AGM

Pen Selwood Community Association's AGM will be held at the Village Hall on February 13th at 7.30.

As well as the routine business of the presentation of the Annual Report and Accounts there will be an opportunity for all attendees living in the village to vote for which Charities they wish the PCA to support in 2026. They will be chosen from a list of nominations made in advance of the meeting. If you wish to make a nomination please see below:

The PCA uses some of its fundraising money to support 2 local and 2 national/international charities each year, and these are chosen by secret ballot at each AGM. This year we want any resident of Penselwood to nominate 1 local and 1 national/international charity in advance of the AGM. All those nominated will be collated and people attending the AGM (which is open to all Pen Selwood residents) will vote from that list. The top 2 local and top 2 national will be supported in 2026. In this way you have an opportunity to put forward your favourite causes even if you can't attend the meeting. Please e-mail me at jane.ashman@icloud.com with your nominations and put "PCA Charities " in the subject line and say a little bit about the charity, what/who it helps and how. Your suggestions will go forward to a final vote at the AGM on 13th Feb. If you prefer drop a note into my post box at Postgate , Bleak Street, but please put your name on it so I can keep a tally.
