Ref : Robin Cuthbert's  sudden death on  Saturday 3rd September

I would like to thank everyone who has responded by card or in person in such a wonderful way. You have all said such lovely, comforting things about Robin which reflects the high regard you obviously felt for him

I need to let you all know that there will be no public ceremony at this stage. We are having a private cremation and then a family clan gathering to scatter his ashes within the village where he can keep an eye on us all.

I hope that in the not to distant future we can host a special night at the Pen Pub in his memory  

Meanwhile there is a formal opening for a village wombler
