Event Description
Tilly Cooper and friends will ring a quarter peal this morning. This will take 45 minutes and the order of the bells has to be right throughout that time to make it a success.
They are likely to ring a combination of different doubles methods; in such methods, the tenor or heaviest bell, remains in sixth place throughout, and th e order of the other bells changes.
The band is made up of very experienced ringers and the quality of ringing should be a real pleasure to listen to.
As always with quarter peals, please do not interrupt them while they are ringing.
