Event Description
A band organised by Ray Haines from Chilcompton will ring a ‘quarter’. The quarter will take about 40 to 45 minutes. They will ring Steadman Doubles which is good to listen to and which is one of the earliest patterns of ringing devised.
The Chilcompton band is one of the best in the diocese and takes a leading place in striking competitions. So the ringing will be a really high standard. As usual please don’t interrupt them while they are ringing, but they will be happy to talk afterwards.
