St Michaels Church Christmas coffee morning, held last Saturday, raised a total of £550.

St Michael’s is having services of worship most Sundays now (and you will find the details in the events column). The arrangements are (approximately 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Sunday at 9am and 4^th Sunday at 6:30 or 4:00, with a 5^th Sunday combined service in either Pen Selwood or Wincanton). Seven, very different gardens in Pen Selwood are open to ticket holders.  In addition there are two plants stalls and a garden bric a brac stall. Tickets £5.00 for the gardens.  (Limited availability)  No dogs. 

Delicious cream teas and cakes available from the Village Hall from 3.00p.m.

A bell will again be rung at St Michael's church, prior to the funeral of Prince Philip from 2:45pm on Saturday 17 April. There will be a minute's silence before the service.

We are pleased to  inform you that St Michael’s Parochial Church Council have agreed to resume Sunday communal worship starting on 28th March at 10am. In the short term whilst we wait for the Government’s road map to unfold, we will mostly continue to hold worship one Sunday and provide time for private prayer the next Sunday (10am – 3pm).…

Local residents, businesses and community organisations are being asked for their views on establishing a community-led electric car club for South Somerset via a short online survey.

The survey is being promoted by South Somerset District Council and would give affordable access to electric cars for everyone whilst also supporting the shift to zero carbon transport.…

The Spring Litter Pick was a great success and lots of villagers turned out to do their bit (see Photos Litter Pick Spring 2021). It was especially nice to see the very youngest villagers joining in and having some fun along the way. Despite being a bitterly cold morning with hail showers plenty of rubbish was removed from the hedgerows and verges.…

Can you believe it was a year ago when we did the village litter pick!! This was our first attempt at social distancing - 6 to a table, rubber gloves for the servers.  Well under current restrictions we can’t meet up like we did last year but we can still pick litter in our family groups.
