Want to improve your digital skills?

I don’t think there’s a single one of us that doesn’t need to improve their digital skills, Whether it’s writing emails, using social media apps or getting to grips with spreadsheets.  “But I don’t have time just now” is the usual excuse.

There hasn’t been a better time or opportunity to pick up some skills which will benefit you now and when the lockdown is lifted. See the range of opportunities from the Dept for Education   …

Bottle stall

Many thanks to all of you who so very kindly provided bottles for the Fete bottle stall.
We made the magnificent sum of £593, so well done all of you providers and buyers of tickets!
It was our first year at the Fete and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.  Many thanks again.  Carole and Michael from Broad oak lodge.

Theft from car - time to tighten up your security

A car parked outside the field where the parking takes place for the Fete was broken into this morning.  Belinda, Franey Matthews daughter left a handbag on the passenger seat.  10 minutes after she parked and was working a little way off with a pony, she heard her car alarm trigger and when she had sorted the pony came back to find the near side passenger window had been smashed and her bag snatched.  Fortunately it had nothing of value in it so she’s hoping it will be dumped…
