Pen Pub - HAPPY HOUR ! Friday 6 August

We plan to re-open on the 1st Friday of August (6th) so note it in your diary and do come along between 1930-2230. Happy Hour 1930-2030. Robin's Pen Pub night

Our special commemorative Pen Pub evening held on Friday 7th October proved to be an appropriate way for villagers and members of the Bourton Players to remember Robin.  Many stories of people's friendship and memories of Robin filled the village hall from the moment the doors opened through to closing time; a true illustration of his reach and popularity.  All the takings from the bar and generous donations from Robin's many friends raised an incredible £500 for the village community field…

Thank you all so much for sponsoring me to complete probably the toughest challenge I've ever done. The weather was cruel for the majority of the day covering us in dense Hill Fog making navigation taxing. After less than 3 hours sleep, we set off up Snowdon at 0330 and the last 2 standing staggered back into the accommodation at 10pm.

After school on Friday I am driving all the way to Snowdonia with a small group of mad friends to take on the Welsh 3000s Challenge!  After about 3 hours sleep we'll position to walk up Snowdon at first light before commencing a 'yomp' across all 15 x 3,000' high mountains in one daylight helping before walking off the mountains at the other end.  I'm hoping to top up the funds I raised in 2014 for Spinal Research following my Dad braking his neck and becoming paralysed.  Please take the…
